Terminal 1 Ticketing and Baggage Claim Under Construction

The ticketing and baggage claim levels at Terminal 1 are undergoing a full remodel to accommodate increasing passenger levels. The work is being completed in stages and includes the addition of new amenities and artwork.

Project impacts include:

Ticketing Level

  • Construction walls are partially blocking sightlines. Please look for wall and floor signs to help direct you.
  • Travelex has moved to a temporary location (look for the “bus” kiosk on the same level). They continue to provide full services.

Baggage Claim

  • Construction walls are partially blocking sightlines. Please look for wall and floor signs to help direct you.
  • Starbucks has closed and will reopen in a temporary location on the baggage claim level in early November 2019. Until then, coffee can be found at JetSet (Level T) and Farmer’s Market (Baggage Claim).
  • Door 6 at the far end of the arrivals/passenger pick up roadway has been closed.

Delta SkyCap Services

Delta Air Lines’ skycap service has moved across the street and is now located at Door 8 on the upper EAST departures roadway.

Armed Forces Service Center

The Armed Forces Service Center, which has been located on the mezzanine overlooking the Ticketing Level, will move inside security on Friday, October 25 at 4 p.m.

Temporary Lane Closures at Terminal 1-Lindbergh

In order to accommodate construction activity around Terminal 1, temporary lane closures throughout the construction program could occur. Most of these will happen in the overnight hours. Please stay aware of your surroundings and look for signage to help guide you to your destination.
